Expanded Treatment Services and Hours at Crossroads Methadone Clinics

Crossroads Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP) have expanded to offer more choices for those in search of recovery from opioid and alcohol use disorders. Previously, our OTP clinics focused only on Methadone, which can require on-site dosing and limits take-home availability.

We have broadened our services to include Buprenorphine-based medications, including Suboxone injectables, giving patients more flexibility and access to care.

What’s more, our new Instant Intake® program allows new patients to complete their initial visit virtually, reducing on-site wait times and improving accessibility to treatment.

Expanded Patient Intake Days

To improve accessibility, our OTP centers now accept new patient intakes five days a week. Those in need of treatment can visit any of our locations Monday through Friday for an intake assessment.

During this evaluation, our medical team will establish the best course of treatment, which may include Methadone or Suboxone. This increased availability means that individuals who want to pursue recovery can start their journey without delays.

New Buprenorphine (Suboxone) Program with Instant Intake®

We now offer Buprenorphine (Suboxone) to patients at our Methadone clinics. This helps expand access to effective treatment options, especially for people who are already being treated with Suboxone or are not well suited for Methadone treatment.

One distinct advantage of this program is the Instant Intake option, which allows new patients to connect with a provider immediately through a virtual meeting. Through this process, patients can receive immediate virtual care any day of the week, making it easier to start treatment without an in-person visit.

Injectable Substance Use Disorder Medication Options Now Available

We also offer injectable medications for opioid and alcohol use disorders, which provides yet another treatment option for those in recovery. Medications such as Sublocade® and Brixadi® deliver Buprenorphine in an extended-release format, allowing for weekly or monthly dosing.

These medications help stabilize patients by reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms. For alcohol use disorder, Vivitrol® is available as a once-monthly injection to help prevent relapse.

Patients can receive an injectable medication assessment Monday through Friday at any of our OTP locations, so it’s easier than ever before to access this treatment option.

The Benefits of Injectable Medications

For many people, the benefits of injectable medications include consistent dosing and reduced risk of missed doses. Injectable medications eliminate the need for daily administration, providing long-lasting relief while supporting sustained recovery.

These options also help minimize the possibility of misuse by delivering controlled, extended-release formulations. Our medical team works closely with patients to ascertain whether an injectable treatment is the right choice for their recovery plan.
